SAN DIEGO, CA – A 16-year-old girl was killed, and a woman was injured in a multi-vehicle rollover crash near SeaWorld yesterday afternoon, according to FOX 5 San Diego.
The accident happened near the intersection of Ingraham Street and Dana Landing Road at about 4:45 p.m., when a 16-year-old driver operating a 2008 Ford Fusion shifted lanes due to slowed traffic.
The Fusion collided with a 2016 Ford Escape, operated by a 26-year-old woman, which then collided with a 2015 Nissan Sentra driven by a 23-year-old man.
The Fusion overturned in the crash, leading to the death of a front-seat passenger, a 16-year-old girl, at the scene.
The driver of the Escape sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The collision remains under investigation.
