Commercial van flips over due to high winds
SAN DIEGO, CA – Troopers with the Califonia Highway Patrol responded to a commercial vehicle rollover collision due to high winds along I-8 early Thursday morning.
According to the CHP, the accident occurred along I-8 at Buckman Springs Road at about 6:20 a.m.
Troopers have reported a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van was blown over due to the high winds. The driver remained inside until emergency crews arrived on the scene. No injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash.
Troopers are advising motorists to proceed with caution throughout Thursday morning while high winds are in the area.
