2 women were killed and 5 people were injured in a multivehicle crash on 71 Freeway in Chino Hills on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. The crash occurred a few minutes before 8:15 in the morning on the southbound 71 at Butterfield Ranch Road. 6 vehicles in total were involved in the crash. One of those vehicles was a box truck that overturned on top of a car, the California Highway Patrol said. The 2 women killed were occupants of a white Honda Accord. 5 other people injured were taken to the hospital. The cause of the crash was not known.
