A male pedestrian was injured after he was hit by a Honda Civic in San Diego on Sunday night, March 8, 2020. The accident took place a few minutes after 8:50 pm on 54th Street between El Cajon Boulevard and Trojan Avenue. A man was driving a 1997 Honda Civic southbound on 54th Street when he attempted to swerve and avoid hitting a pedestrian crossing westbound, but still hit a male pedestrian with the right side of his car. One of the injuries that the pedestrian who was hit by the said vehicle got was a broken right leg. The driver of the Honda stayed at the scene after the accident took place.
