Single-vehicle accident serious injures driver
SAN DIEGO, CA – A driver was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident in Live Oak Springs on Wednesday evening, according to CHP.
The accident happened on Old Highway 80 near Stagecoach Springs Road at about 7:15 p.m. A grey sedan crashed off the road and landed about 200 feet down an embankment.
A passerby heard the driver call for help from near the crashed sedan and called 911. When the authorities arrived, they found the victim badly injured.
The cause of the accident remains unclear.
