Several vehicles involved in high-speed crash in Temecula
SAN DIEGO, CA – As many as seven vehicles were involved in a car accident caused by a speeding driver on I-15 in Temecula on Wednesday evening.
According to CHP, the driver of a small sedan was going about 100 mph when he cut across four lanes of traffic on I-15 north and crashed near California Oaks Road at about 11:15 p.m. As many seven vehicles became involved in the accident.
One driver was extricated from their vehicle and people from three of the vehicles reported injuries that needed treatment. An additional AMR ambulance was called to help treat the victims.
It took more than two hours for authorities to clear the crash scene.
