Several injured in multi-vehicle crash in La Mesa

SAN DIEGO, CA – Four vehicles were involved in an accident on Interstate 8 in La Mesa on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A tan SUV was driving eastbound on Interstate 8 when the driver swerved from the fast lane across four lanes near Spring Street at about 9:06 a.m. In the process, the SUV struck three other vehicles.

One person, whose vehicle had ended up in the center divide, needed an ambulance. At least two other people also sustained injuries.
