Semi-truck involved in hit-and-run accident in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA – A semi-truck was involved in a hit-and-run accident this morning near Manzanita Canyon in San Diego. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on State Route 15 and Interstate 805 at around 11 a.m.

A semi-truck and a grey Mustang were both traveling southbound on SR-15 when a third vehicle crashed into them and fled the scene.

An ambulance was called to the site and transported at least one person to a hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries sustained in the accident is unknown at this time.
