Semi-truck carrying bales of hay turns on side
SAN DIEGO, CA – A semi-truck carrying bales of hay crashed and turned over on its side this afternoon in San Diego. According to Fox 5 San Diego, the truck was traveling northbound on interstate 15 when it flipped for unknown reasons. The semi-truck laid across all five lanes of the highway, essentially shutting down all traffic Tuesday morning and early afternoon. Police responded on the scene at around 11:30 a.m. and attempted to get the truck moved off the roadway.
Responders on the scene were able to get the truck right side up by late afternoon. It’s unclear what caused the accident at this time. Our team will continue to monitor the situation and post an update if new information becomes available to us.
