San Marino, CA- Dog And Jogger Killed After They Were Struck By A Car
A man and his dog were killed on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in San Marino, CA after they were struck by a vehicle that was involved in a street racing. According to police, 2 cars were reportedly racing each other going westbound on Huntington Drive when one car cut across all lanes of traffic, spun out of control, and skidded across the median. The white Mercedes involved in the racing came to a stop on the opposite side of the road, striking the man and his dog while they were jogging. Both the man and his pet died at the scene. The man was tossed about 30 feet from the crash point and the dog traveled another 60 feet. The underage drivers involved in street racing stayed in the scene. They were also taken into custody by authorities. Both of them faced vehicular manslaughter charges.
