4 people were injured after a car split into half following a crash early Friday, July 26, 2019 in San Francisco. The accident reportedly occurred in the city’s Bayview District. The injuries that the victims sustained were considered as non-life threatening. The crash happened between 3rd Street and Carroll Avenue about 1:15 am. The engine compartment of the Silver Mazda reportedly snapped away from the rest of the vehicle. The accident also sheared off a fire hydrant at the intersection close to the crash site. The police were investigating the cause of the crash. Speed, though, was a factor that caused crash.
