Sacramento- 12-Year Old Pedestrian Killed After She Was Hit By A Vehicle While Trying To Help A Teen Not To Get Injured
A 12-year old pedestrian was killed after she was hit by a vehicle while trying to help a teen not to get injured in Sacramento on Wednesday night, January 15, 2020. A 16-year old pedestrian reportedly ran into the northbound lanes of Interstate 80. The 12-year old pedestrian chased after the teen pedestrian in an attempt to stop her. At approximately 10 pm, the 12-year old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, and, thus, killed in the accident. The 16-year old pedestrian was not injured. The driver of the vehicle who hit the 12-year old pedestrian stayed at the scene after the accident.
