Rollover crash partially closes I-15 overnight

SAN DIEGO, CA – A vehicle crashed and overturned in a single-car crash on Interstate 5 on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on I-15 south near I-805 at about 2:33 a.m. A black car crashed, overturned, and landed upside off the road and spread debris over the roadway.

An ambulance was called to the accident scene. At least some of the occupants were able to exit the vehicle and it unclear whether any persons needed treatment from the medics.

The road was partially closed for just over an hour while the scene was cleared.
