A passenger of a vehicle involved in a crash with the vehicle of a Shasta Deputy was killed in Redding, CA on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. The accident took place on Highway 299, close to Lower Springs Road. A 2-year old child who was an occupant of the same vehicle sustained major injuries from the crash. A Shasta Deputy was also seriously injured in the crash. The first vehicle was reportedly travelling east and the deputy’s car was travelling west on Highway 299.
