Reckless driving incident ends with car in pool
LEMON GROVE, CA – A police chase Wednesday morning ended with a vehicle submerged in a backyard pool, according to Fox 5 San Diego.
Deputies responded to reports of two cars driving recklessly at 4 a.m. on June 10. They soon located the two vehicles and tried to initiate a traffic stop.
The Sheriff’s department called off the chase when the drivers sped away from deputies.
One of the drivers plowed through a barrier and into a pool near Camino De Las Palmas.
There was no sign of the driver when police arrived at the scene. No one was hurt during the incident.
The car was hoisted out of the pool around 9:30 a.m.
The driver is still at large.
