Police chase leads to injured pedestrian and several hit cars
SAN DIEGO, CA – A police chase resulted in a pedestrian injury and several vehicles being hit on Saturday night. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego Police attempted to pull over a man for speeding at around 7:15 p.m. The man, with a woman passenger, fled the scene and lost control of the vehicle as he turned onto Alta View Drive. He crashed into a pedestrian, two parked cars, and an electrical box. The damage to the electrical box caused several houses to lose electricity.
The man and woman then attempted to flee the scene on foot but San Diego Police were able to capture them shortly. It’s unclear if either of the suspects were injured in the accident. The pedestrian suffered a moderate head injury and other injuries in the crash. Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
