Sean Kingston Fined for “Careless Operation” in Jet Ski Accident

The “Beautiful Girls” singer was fined a whopping $180 for “careless operation in an accident.” It refers to Kingston’s near-fatal jet ski accident back in May‚ when he crashed his brand new PWC into a bridge in Miami Beach.

Apparently‚ Kingston made a classic NOVICE move when he stupidly released the throttle while turning the steering wheel at the same time‚ causing him to lose control of the watercraft. Investigators say the celeb’s “inexperience” and “inattention” were solely to blame. Cops specifically called him out for not understanding basic boating safety procedures. Read the rest »

Mission Bay Tubing Accident Kills Man I San Diego PWC Accident

A man died Sunday‚ July 24‚ 2011 at about 5:50 p.m. after an inner-tube accident on Mission Bay. The victim hadMission Bay Tubing Accident been riding a water device called a biscuit that was being towed behind a person watercraft (PWC) at Ski Beach.

The man went under the water and could not be found. 10 minutes later‚ the man’s lifeless body was found. Lifeguards say that the man had been wearing a life jacket but was found without it. They believe the device was too small and improperly fastened‚ deeming it useless. In addition‚ the floating device was not properly inflates and had broken apart while it was being towed. Sean Kingston Critically Injured in Miami Beach Jet Ski Accident

kingstonHip-hop singer Sean Kingston and his female passenger were critically injured after he crashed his personal watercraft (PWC) into a Miami Beach bridge around 6 p.m. on Sunday‚ May 29‚ 2011.

Luckily‚ a passer-by saw the accident and saved the pair‚ who was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. The female passenger suffered minor injuries while Kingston was being treated in the trauma ward. Though authorities do not believe alcohol played a role in the incident the female passenger told reporters that they were speeding when they collided into the Palm Island Bridge‚ which connects Palm Island with the MacArthur Causeway.
