Pedestrian struck, killed by Amtrak train in Carlsbad
SAN DIEGO, CA – A pedestrian died after being struck by an Amtrak train in Carlsbad Sunday afternoon, according to the Times of San Diego.
The fatal accident happened on the train tracks near La Costa Avenue and Highway 101 at about 4:45 p.m.
The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, died at the scene.
Police are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the crash.
