Pedestrian Struck in Serra Mesa Truck Accident
A woman believed to be in her 50s was struck in a San Diego auto accident that occurred on October 17‚ 2011‚ around 7 a.m. at a Serra Mesa intersection. According to the police‚ the victim was walking in the crosswalk at Gramercy Drive and Mobley Street when a 49-year-old man driving a Toyota Tundra turned left and hit her.
The woman was conscious when medical assistance came and was immediately transported to a nearby. The driver has not been cited as of yet‚ as the accident is still under investigation.
From the available information‚ it appears that the truck driver is responsible for this serious pedestrian wreck. If he was at a turn‚ he should have exercised caution before proceeding. At this time‚ the victim or her family members should immediately seek counsel from an experienced San Diego County pedestrian accident lawyer who would educate them about their legal rights and assure that the at-fault truck driver is brought to justice.
Our personal injury law office sincere hopes that the injuries suffered by the pedestrian do not prove fatal and heal soon.
