Pedestrian dead after being hit by freight train near Old Town Transit Station
SAN DIEGO, CA – A person died last night after being struck by a freight train near the Old Town Transit Station, according to ABC 10 News.
The accident happened in the 4000 block of Taylor Street sometime before 9:25 p.m. when a pedestrian, whose identity has yet to be publicly revealed, was hit by a BNSF train.
The victim died at the scene.
Police are searching for possible witnesses to the scene and are continuing to investigate the collision.
