San Francisco-4 People Injured After Hit-And Run Rampage Along Tenderloin Neighborhood

4 people were injured Wednesday afternoon, May 29, 2019, after a woman hit cars and pedestrians along the Tenderloin neighborhood in San Francisco. The woman was reportedly had been a suspect of stealing a vehicle. The suspect drove to a sidewalk near the Tenderloin police station after law enforcers tried to pull her over. She hit a street worker and scaffolding when she drove the vehicle over this sidewalk. According to police, the worker sustained minor injuries but was taken to the hospital. After hitting the worker, the woman hit other parked cars. Afterwards, the woman hit a pedestrian close to Eddy and Taylor streets. Afterwards, the driver continued driving. The pedestrian was reportedly in critical condition after she was taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver then hit two other cars close to Market and 5th streets. Passengers of those vehicles were treated for pain after the accident. The suspect hit another car in between 5th and Clara street. The person occupying that vehicle also sustained an injury. Lastly, the driver hit another vehicle in between 6th and Clara streets. The person inside the said vehicle acquired treatment on the spot at the accident site. According to San Francisco police, the accident in between 6th and Clara streets brought the woman to stop what she was doing. The woman was taken into police custody after her hit-and-run rampage was stopped. The female suspect was reportedly taken in to the hospital to be treated for pain, as well, according to the San Francisco police.

Oceanside-Woman Injured After Hit By A Car While Jaywalking Near Mission Road

A woman was injured after she was hit by a car near Mission Road and El Camino Real while jaywalking on Friday night, May 31, 2019. According to Oceanside police, the accident reportedly occurred about 9:30 pm. The woman sustained fractures on her legs. However, she was conscious after the accident. She was taken to the hospital so she could be treated. According to the police, the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Pomona, CA-22 Year Old Woman Killed In A Metrolink Train Suicide

A 22-year old woman was hit by a Metrolink train in Pomona on Friday, May 31, 2019. The woman was killed after being hit by the train. Authorities believed that the incident was an apparent suicide. They believed it was not an accident. The woman was Evelyn Abigail Gamarro. Gamarro apparently stepped in front of a Riverside-bound Metrolink train travelling 60 miles per hour at 2 pm on Friday. Gamarro was walking on the tracks of the train closed to the pedestrian sidewalk. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office pronounced Gamarro dead at 2:25 pm.

According to Pomona Police Lt. Steve Congalton, the conductor of the Metrolink train involved in the accident did saw Gamarro stepping out in front of the train while it was travelling along 1st Avenue, near Buena Vista Avenue. According to Paul Gonzales, a spokesman for Metrolink, the train approximately had 100 passengers in it when the incident occurred.
