Orange County Big-Rig Accident Injures 3 People; 5 Cars Damaged
Three people were injured in a serious trucking accident that occurred on June 6‚ 2011‚ around 12:58 p.m. on Miraloma Avenue and Miller Street. Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Rick Martinez said that the Ridgeline driver ran a red light and crashed into a Fresh Foods Concepts truck while travelling north.
After the collision‚ the truck driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into five parked vehicles. The vehicles that were struck by the truck included a Volkswagen Passat‚ a GMC Envoy‚ a Toyota Yaris,a Toyota Camry‚ and a Ford van.
From the available information‚ it is quite evident that the negligence of the Ridgeline driver led to this multiple-vehicle accident that injured three people. The investigating officers need to determine whether the Ridgeline driver was speeding or intoxicated. If the Ridgeline driver is at fault‚ then he and his employer may be held liable for the injuries and damages caused.
The injured victims should immediately seek counsel from an Orange County trucking injury lawyer to obtain compensation to cover medical expenses‚ loss of wages‚ cost of hospitalization‚ and other accident-related damages.
Our personal injury law office sincerely hopes that the injured victims recover to their complete health soon.
