One person killed when cable truck and sedan collide in El Cajon
EL CAJON, CA – One person died after a car and a cable truck collided in El Cajon yesterday afternoon, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The collision occurred on I-8, near Greenfield Drive, at about 4:30 p.m., when a sedan and a Cox Communications truck collided with each other.
One person who has yet to be publicly identified was killed as a result.
The truck driver was not reported as injured.
Authorities closed the off-ramp for several hours for the cleanup and investigation of the accident.
