One person airlifted from rollover crash in Oceanside
SAN DIEGO, CA – One person was taken by helicopter from the scene of a rollover accident on Interstate 5 in Oceanside on Wednesday afternoon.
According to CHP, a vehicle was southbound on I-5 when the vehicle swerved across multiple lanes and hit the center divide near the Aliso Creek Rest Area at about 4:10 p.m. The vehicle overturned onto the northbound side of the freeway.
Authorities closed the freeway for about 10 minutes in order to land a helicopter at the scene. The victim was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries.
