One injured in truck versus car accident in Carlsbad
SAN DIEGO, CA – One person was injured in a truck-versus car-accident on Interstate 5 in Carlsbad on Monday morning, according to CHP.
The driver of an Albertson’s tractor-trailer called 911 after he was rear-ended on I-5 South at the Carlsbad Village Drive on-ramp. The collision left the blue BMW which hit the truck turned the wrong way on the on-ramp.
The driver of the BMW remained on the scene and was able to exit his vehicle.
One person reported minor injuries in the accident and it is unclear whether this was the truck driver or the BMW driver.
