One injured in accident with motorized inflatable boat in Mission Bay
SAN DIEGO, CA – An unmanned, motorized inflatable boat injured one person after crashing into a sailboat yesterday in Mission Bay, according to a report by Fox 5 San Diego.
The occupants of the inflatable boat lost control of the vessel and were thrown into the water around 6 p.m., officials say.
Danyelle Wolf, a three-time national boxing champion, took footage of the accident that shows the inflatable boat crashing into the sailboat.
The two occupants of the sailboat were able to jump out of the way of the inflatable boat, but one of them was taken to the hospital for an injury to the head.
