One dead, two injured in motorcycle vs. pickup truck accident in Escondido
ESCONDIDO, CA – A man died when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in an accident Sunday afternoon on San Pasqual Valley Road, according to ABC 10 News.
The collision occurred in the 18000 block of San Pasqual Valley at about 1:40 p.m.
The victim, a 65-year-old man driving a 2020 Harley-Davidson in the eastbound lanes, crossed over the center line and into the lane of oncoming traffic.
He then collided with a 1997 Ford 250 traveling in the westbound direction.
The motorcyclist was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Ford, an 88-year-old man, and a passenger in the vehicle were taken to the hospital for the treatment of unspecified injuries.
The accident is under investigation at this time.
