Napa County, CA- 2 Drivers Sustained Major Injuries In A DUI Suspected Related Crash
2 drivers were injured in a suspected DUI related crash in Napa County, CA early Sunday, September 15, 2019. A Vallejo woman was suspected to be driving under the influence of alcohol as she went the wrong way on State Highway 29, close to Middleton, causing a head-on crash. At around 2:08 am, the Vallejo woman was driving a 2015 Chevy Malibu southbound in the no. 1 lane of northbound SR-29 at Tower Road and crashed head-on with a 2019 Kia Forte Sedan travelling northbound in the same lane. The driver of the other vehicle was a 48-year old Napa man. Both the woman driver and the male driver were trapped in their vehicles after the car. They had to be extricated from the wreckage.
