Motorcyclist suffers multiple broken bones after collision with pickup in El Cerrito
SAN DIEGO, CA – A possible DUI collision last night between a pickup truck and a motorcycle caused one man to sustain multiple, serious injuries in the El Cerrito neighborhood, according to the Times of San Diego.
The collision occurred in the 5500 block of El Cajon Boulevard, near 55th Street, at just after 7:15 p.m. when the 45-year-old driver of a Toyota Tacoma failed to yield the right of way and made a left turn in front of a Ducati motorcycle.
The two vehicles collided, leaving the 29-year-old motorcyclist in the hospital with multiple broken bones.
The driver of the pickup truck was not reported as hurt and was taken into police custody on possible DUI charges.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the two drivers.
