Motorcyclist seriously injured in Dulzura accident
SAN DIEGO, CA – A 59-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after an accident in Dulzura, an unincorporated community near San Diego. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the collision occurred at around 11:15 a.m. on State Route 94 near Freezer Road. An eastbound Ford E-350 Van turned north onto Freezer Road and collided with the motorcyclist.
According to a CHP officer, the victim was thrown off the road. He was transported by air to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries and is expected to survive the ordeal. The driver of the van was not injured in the crash.
Police say that they do not believe that drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
