Motorcyclist seriously injured after I-805 accident
SAN DIEGO, CA – A motorcyclist was injured in an accident with two cars on Interstate 805 on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened in the northbound I-805 near SR-15 at about 8 a.m. The motorcycle collided with two vehicles and went down in the middle lanes of the freeway.
Three lanes were blocked for some time while the victim was treated. They did not reopen until almost 9 a.m.
The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with injuries that were considered major. It is unclear whether anyone else was injured.
