Motorcyclist remains hospitalized after crash I-805

SAN DIEGO, CA – A motorcyclist remains in the hospital after sustaining injuries in an accident on Interstate 805 in the City Heights area on Tuesday morning.

The motorcycle crashed with a vehicle on I-805 south near Home Avenue at about 9:15 a.m. A woman called authorities to report that a motorcyclist had fallen into her path but that she did not know whether she had struck him.

The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries. Further details about that individual are unclear.

According to Fox News San Diego, the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
