Motorcyclist injured in crash with minivan in Escondido

SAN DIEGO, CA – A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a minivan in a residential area of Escondido on Thursday afternoon, according to the CHP.

The motorcyclist collided with a Honda Odyssey near the intersection of North Nutmeg Street and Gary Lane at about 2:50 p.m. The motorcyclist came off their bike and went down in the roadway, bleeding.

An ambulance was immediately summoned to treated the rider. The extent of their injuries is unclear, as well as if anyone in the minivan was injured.
