Motorcyclist injured in San Marcos crash
SAN MARCOS, CA – A car-versus-motorcycle accident occurred in a Fry’s parking lot Sunday evening, reported Fox 5 News.
Officers were called to the area around 6:15 p.m. Sunday. The 23-year-old motorcyclist was traversing the parking lot of a Fry’s Electronics store on South Bent Avenue when he collided with the other vehicle. The force of the collision threw the driver from his motorcycle, causing serious injuries.
An ambulance was called to the scene and the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Officers believe that alcohol was not a factor in the accident. The crash is still under investigation and more information will be reported as it becomes available.
