Minivan and sedan hit debris from truck in Oceanside
SAN DIEGO, CA – Two vehicles hit debris that fell off of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 5 in Oceanside on Monday afternoon, according to CHP.
A black minivan and a black Volkswagen Jetta both ran into the compressor that fell off a red tractor-trailer on I-5 south near Birmingham Drive at about 1:50 p.m.
All three vehicles pulled to the righthand side of the road, including the minivan with a flat tire, while the compressor remained where it had landed in the roadway.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. Freeway Service Patrol personnel cleared the debris from the freeway and damaged vehicles were towed from the scene.
