Mendocino County, CA- Skateboarder Killed In A Highway 1 Hit-And-Run Crash
A 21-year old skateboarder was killed Thursday night, July 18, 2019, in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 1 along Little Lake Road in Mendocino County. The skateboarder was reportedly skateboarding west across the highway at the time of the crash. The accident was believed to had occurred a few minutes before 10:50 pm. According to an initial investigation, a car travelling north on the highway at an unknown speed hit the skateboarder in the northbound lane while the skateboarder was skateboarding across the highway. The driver drove away from the crash site after the accident.
