Out of 528 applicants, we have chosen one California winner and one national winner. Our attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff at Jurewitz Law Group Injury & Accident Lawyers spent a decent amount of time debating which of our ten finalists would be the ultimate winners, but we’re happy to say that we reached an agreement. Why we chose you: your introductions grabbed us right away, and your essays really blew our socks off! (Everyone, go read them now.) Kids like you are the reason we’re glad we aren’t in school anymore. Things are ultra-competitive out there, but we strongly suspect you have a fighting chance—in college, in your career, and in life.
That goes for the rest of you who applied to the Take Charge of Tomorrow Scholarship, too. We appreciate that you took the initiative, and fully expect great things from you. If we see your names in the news, we’ll go, “Hey, that sounds familiar…oh yeah; we totally remember she wrote to us about wanting to develop artificial skin cells for burn victims. Glad to see she’s done it.”
Or, “I told you we should have chosen that guy! He just saved ten people on a rescue dive mission!”
In short, keep charging ahead, don’t give up on your dreams, and work hard now so you can reap the benefits later. Best of luck!
