Man injures two in Serra Mesa crash
SAN DIEGO, CA – A man was arrested after injuring two people in a car accident in Serra Mesa on Wednesday morning, according to the Times of San Diego.
The 58-year-old man slammed his Tesla into a 58-year-old woman’s Audi on Aero Drive near Sandrock Road at about 10 a.m. Audi was pushed into a tree as a result of the impact. A witness said the car was driving as fast as 90 mph when he struck the woman.
The woman and her 18-year-old son, who was also in the car, were transported to a local hospital. They both received surgery for their injuries.
The man, who appeared to struggle to complete a field sobriety test, was put in a police cruiser in handcuffs.
