Mammoth Mountain, CA- Man Dead In A Skiing Accident
Several witnesses reported seeing a skier lose control near the top of “Wipeout Chutes” near Chair 23 in the Mammoth Mountain in California on June 22, 2019, Saturday. Dispatched Mammoth Mountain Ski Patrol team found the unconscious male skier in full cardiac arrest at the bottom of the Wipeout Chutes. CPR and advance life support were administered immediately. As such, the guest was quickly taken to the care of Mono County paramedics. Paramedics continued life saving efforts while on the way to the Mammoth Hospital. However, despite such, the guest died shortly after he arrived at the hospital. The victim was identified as John Picard, 25, of Boston, Massachusetts.
