Lanes blocked on I-5 due to vehicle fire in National City
SAN DIEGO, CA – Lanes were blocked on Interstate 5 in National City after a vehicle caught fire on Wednesday night, according to Caltrans San Diego.
The vehicle was in the middle lanes of I-5 south near Harbor Drive when it caught fire shortly before 8:30 p.m.
Authorities blocked off the scene while the flames were knocked back. The area was reopened before 9 a.m.
There is no word on whether anyone was injured in the fire.
