Lake Elsinore, CA- 6 People Injured After A Van Hit A School Bus
4 people were injured after a van hit a school bus in Lake Elsinore, CA on Friday morning, December 13, 2019. The accident took place at approximately 7:30 am, at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Morro Way. A male driver was driving a van eastbound, and approached a stop sign. A Lake Elsinore Unified School District school bus, carrying 10 children, was heading into the intersection going south on Grand Avenue at the time. Eyewitnesses said that the van may have ran the stop sign, thus, causing the accident. The bus driver and a student riding the school bus sustained minor injuries. The driver of the van and a 5-year old girl passenger of the van sustained major injuries. A 2-year old boy and a 10-year old girl, the other passengers of the van, also sustained minor injuries.
