Hit-and-run collision reported on Racho Penasquitos Blvd
SAN DIEGO, CA – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a hit-and-run collision involving a semi-truck Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred within the 12800 block of Rancho Penasquitos Boulevard just west of I-15 at about 1:15 p.m, according to the CHP.
Initial reports were of the semi striking another vehicle while attempting to merge onto the roadway. The driver of the truck promptly left the scene of the incident before authorities arrived.
No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash. We will continue to follow this developing story for any updates should they be released to the public.
