Hit-and-run accident reported near the border
SAN DIEGO, CA – A hit-and-run accident was reported this afternoon near a border checkpoint. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at 779 West San Ysidro Boulevard near the Interstate 5 border checkpoint at around 2:18 p.m. No details about the suspected vehicle have been released at this time.
No injuries were reported in the incident. Our team will monitor the situation and post an update if any new information is released to the public.
