Hit-and-run accident injures one person in El Cajon
SAN DIEGO, CA – One person was injured in a hit-and-run accident that sent a vehicle off the road on Interstate 8 in El Cajon on Tuesday afternoon.
According to CHP, a vehicle flew off the freeway and overturned multiple times after being hit by another car in the westbound lanes of I-8 near North Magnolia Avenue at about 2:45 p.m. The car was not visible from the freeway.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle and was, thankfully, only minorly injured.
The at-fault driver had already fled the scene when emergency crews arrived. A description of their vehicle was not available.
