Gas line damaged by woman in crash
OCEANSIDE, CA – A woman accidentally crashed her minivan into a shopping center, rupturing the gas line Wednesday, reports Fox 5 San Diego.
A woman was in the shopping center parking lot at 3776 Mission Avenue around noon: when, for unknown reasons, she crashed her minivan into the building rupturing a gas line.
Firefighters were called to the scene for a blowing and broken line. The area was evacuated as well as nearby businesses. The woman was able to get out of her vehicle on her own.
She was later taken to the hospital for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported in the area. Officers are investigating the circumstances which caused the woman to crash into the store.
