With his diverse background and unique insight into the human condition, Trial Attorney Brian R. Mason has found the perfect niche for his talents at Jurewitz Law Group. Brian did his undergraduate work in sociology before choosing a law career. The time has come to finally announce the winner of our 2016 Jurewitz Law Group San Diego Scholarship. Narrowing down from our top eight was no easy task, but we’ve come to a decision as to our winner.
We’re incredibly excited to announce our top finalists for the 2016 Jurewitz Law Group San Diego Scholarship. Competition was tight amongst our applicants, but after reviewing all the submitted essays, we were able to narrow it down to the top eight finalists. The major theme we asked of our applicant essays was how they plan to utilize their education to positively affect their community at large. We are so excited about our first ever national scholarship. The 2016 Jurewitz Law Group National Scholarship is our way of recognizing those high school seniors who have not only excelled in their academics, but have also selflessly given back to their communities. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the incredible 2,012 students who submitted their applications and essays. After carefully reviewing each and every one, it is our great privilege to announce our top 20 finalists:
To show our support of the National City Police Department’s (NCPD) anti-bullying campaign, Jurewitz Law Group donated $1,250 that will enable the NCPD to hand out 500 magnetic memo boards for free that will enhance Emergency Safety Awareness in our community. The boards are magnetized so they can easily be attached to a refrigerator or other steel surface that can be displayed as a constant reminder. On the front of each board, there are designated spaces to write local emergency numbers. On the back side, there are tidbits on how to deal with bullying. Read the rest »
