Firefighters look for Wildomar wreck after victim finds help
SAN DIEGO, CA – Firefighters were searching for a crashed vehicle after an injured person went for help in Wildomar early on Monday morning.
According to CHP, the accident was reported on I-15 south near Bundy Canyon Road at about 4:20 a.m. The vehicle had rolled off the freeway in the crash and the driver had crawled out and gone for help.
While the victim was being assessed and treated, firefighters went searching for the crash scene but were unable to immediately locate where the vehicle had left the road.
After about half-an-hour of searching in the dark, it was found north of Bundy Canyon Road and towed from the scene.
