Fatal San Diego Car Wreck Kills Driver on I-8
A 52-year-old El Cajon resident was killed in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred on November 16, 2011, around 5:45 a.m. on Interstate 8 (I-8) in the Alpine area. According to California Highway Patrol and San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, the driver’s eastbound sedan rear-ended the tractor-trailer near East Victoria Drive.
The motorist suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the accident scene. From the available information, it is unclear what led to this serious car wreck. If there occurred a loss of control due to a vehicular malfunction, then the auto maker may be financially responsible for the accident and the damages.
Meanwhile, the victim’s family members should immediately seek counsel from an experienced San Diego County car accident lawyer who would educate them about their legal rights. This lawyer may also help victims obtain compensation for the losses occurred in this crash.
Our law office sends heartfelt condolences to all those who knew and loved the victim for such a heart rendering loss.
