Fatal pedestrian reported in Ramona

SAN DIEGO, CA – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on a residential street in Ramona on Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A white pickup truck struck a pedestrian in the 24100 block of Barona Mesa Road at about 7:30 p.m.

The pedestrian died as a result of the injuries from the incident. Their identity has not been released.

The truck was towed from the scene and impounded as evidence.
