Fatal High Desert Head-On Car Collision Kills Motorist
An unidentified motorist died in a fatal rollover car wreck that occurred on November 23, 2011, around 4:40 p.m. near the Highway 138-Highway 18 junction, east of the unincorporated community of Llano. According to California Highway Patrol, a Dodge pickup rolled and hit a Lexus and a small pickup head-on.
One person suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the accident scene. From the available information, it is unclear what led to this serious head-on car wreck. If it is found that the car rolled several times due to an auto malfunction, then the auto maker may be held liable for the accident and the losses incurred. However, if it is one of the driver’s fault, then he may be held liable for all the damages caused by the accident.
Meanwhile, the victim’s family members can seek counsel from an experienced San Bernardino County car wreck lawyer to learn about their legal rights. The lawyer may help them file a wrongful death claim and obtain compensation to cover funeral and burial costs, loss of anticipated wages, loss of love, care and companionship, and other accident-related damages.
Our personal injury law office sends our deepest condolences to the victims’ facilities.
